Carved by Peter Calvesbert Series - Small Treasure Jest Release Date - 1st June 2000 Availablity - Retired 29th October 2003 Edition Size - 8611 Dimensions - 2 x 3 x 2.5 inches Reference - TJCA12 (Evej004) Manufactured in the UK by Harmony Kingdom
Two kittens frolic in a large cardboard box, better than any expensive cat toy! Maybe it's the faint scent of tuna lingering on the old box that has attracted the frisky felines. Inscribed on the box lid is the phrase 'River Severn Tuna.' The River Severn is a former favourite fishing spot of Peters, and about the unlikeliest place on earth you'd ever find a tuna. A dead bird with its feet in the air reminds us that although cats are loveable and cuddly creatures, they have predatory instincts as well. The kittens on Version 1 and Version Infinity are different colours (grey in Version 1 and orange in Version Infinity). In addition, Version 1 features an extra mouse peeping out of a hole chewed in the side of the box. A name change occurred as well between the two versions. Version 1 is named "Tony's Tabbies II" and Version Infinity "Cannery Row."
This is Version 1.
Although Harmony Kingdom is still manufactured at Wimberley Mills near Stroud in Gloucestershire, since Martin Perry, the founder retired in August 2005, marketing and shipping of the pieces is done from the USA office at Harmony Ball Company in Ohio. This means that we have to consolidate our orders before having them shipped to us. We are currently taking deliveries about every 6 weeks and so there may be a delay with your order if the piece is not already in stock. We will advise by email. Hope this doesn't cause a problem.
