Once upon a time there were two Loopy Ladies who were shopkeepers in a small market town. Even though they were not very old (in fact they are very young!!!) they found they did not like all the aspects of modern life. The small market town wasn't the same as it used to be - no one seemed to have any time, rush rush rush! After careful consideration and chocolate the Loopy Ladies came up with an idea! They decided to build a virtual village, Whittering-On-The-Edge. Technology can give everyone the gift of time. You don't have to park your car or buy a bus ticket to visit Whittering-On-The-Edge. You can shop in comfort, stress free not worrying about collecting a parking ticket or having your umbrella with you. Imagine a village where everyone smiles and says hello and does their best to help. A cluster of small friendly shops where you can take your time to stroll round and wander to your hearts content. With a little preparation and forethought you can stop for a cup of tea or coffee and a cake or even stop at the Dog and Duck pub for a G and T or a glass of wine (Just visit the kitchen or the drinks cabinet before you sit down at the computer!) Simply use your imagination and join in village life. Pop into the shops and see what the people of the village are doing. Put your shopping in your wicker basket and the delivery boy (one at each shop carefully chosen for whistling and bike riding abilities)will carry your shopping home for you! All that remains is for you to sit back and wait for a knock at your front door and the delivery boy will have become a tall, dark, handsome postman (come on use your imagination!) The village shop keepers can also arrange for pressies to be gift wrapped and delivered. And of course, Whittering-on-the-Edge is always keen to take part in fund raising to help good causes.
