"Before I begin a painting on canvas, I always produce a small sketch "The Idea". The idea is refined into a small working study of how I see the finished painting to be. "The Godfather", "Bad Seed" and "Nicodemus" studies were exhibited as part of a Miniatures Exhibition hosted by the Halcyon Gallery, Birmingham in December 2003. I feel honoured to have them as my first three published studies"
