The Loopy Zoo is always having new guests arrive... Please be patient whilst our young and handsome zookeepers keep repairing the elephant enclosures... We were going to tell you a couple of elephants crept in when we weren't looking but you might find that hard to believe - then again perhaps not (You tend to find a lot of elephants hiding out in the woods around English country villages - sometimes they have run away from the circus and set up their own little groups. You don't tend to see them very often as they are very good at blending in with their surroundings and tend to hide behind trees and bushes)! Anyway once they were here we took a look at them and checked with our Childrens First Book of Animals and decided they looked like elephants so they could stay! They told us they missed being with humans in the woods and would rather be in the comfort of the Loopy Zoo as there is more opportunity for social occasions! So we apologise for the fact that occasionally they seem to have invited a few friends round for tea and buns but they are bigger than us (Yes - even bigger than Karen!!) so we didn't argue! so if you feel the need to rehome an elephant - please do not hesitate to contact us!
