Trout in the Classroom

Here at Loopyladies we are always keen and eager to help with charity projects of all kinds.

Trout In The Classroom is a fast growing multi-award winning eco-initiative taking nature into the classroom. Hatchery units are placed in schools around the country and children oversee the development of trout and salmon eggs into fry. After approximately 12 weeks the swim-up fry are released with great pride, by the children, into their local river. The cost of the hatchery is approx £1000. That is where we became involved with the fund raising.

Using our feminine charms (sorry - we cannot divulge our technique!) we persuaded Adam Binder of Adam Binder Editions fame to sculpt an exclusive piece for Trout In The Classroom, 'Spawn Free'
