Sunflowers are quintessentially associated with happiness. Children grow them at school. We all smile when we see them. People compete to grow the tallest one and send them top make others smile. Few flowers evoke such a positive reaction. The association between flowers and emotions fascinates me. Some of the origins are historical, some dictated by fashion, others purely by when they appear in the year. Flowers are often so much more than just flowers to many people.
So Joie De Vivre is just that to celebrate all that is good.
