This wonderful piece is a box. The frogs make the lid. Inside is a tadpole.In Adams words...As Spring continues with all its’ signs of re-growth, buds explode with blossom, lambs appear as if by magic in the fields, baby rabbits nibble at the fresh shoots of grass on the roadside and reptiles emerge hungry from Winter hiding places. As many of you know by now, this is my favourite and most inspiring time of the Year and I’m thrilled to show you Chestnuts from my new series of Netsuke’s inspired by the Seasons.
